Hi I have a 1996 "P" reg 1.9 diesel galaxy and I would like to know what type of engine I have ie does this have the PD system or not. I also would like to know if the type of fuel line of this year would be suitiable for biodiesel as I have heard that if it has rubber lines they will not last. I have looked at the lines but not sure if the hoses are made of rubber or a different material how could I tell the difference? any further info would be greatfull Thanks

Hi had the same problem after trying serveral things I found that it was a relay under the seat compartment next to the central locking controller. The relay is numbered 79 if this helps you, I found the contacts had suffered water damage and after cleaning them up and poping the lid off the relay and cleaning the internal contact I put it back in and all is working fine now. Hope this will help you sort you problem out.

Hi i have got my central locking controller working, after testing it the first time everything worked, but after connecting and bolting the unit back in now the boot realse is not working. I know that this can be turned on and off with the key but tried this and dont seem to be able to get it working although can contol other doors from boot. I found the wire in the back door piller and forced 12v on it and the motor works ok. I have brought a system from rightclick and fitted it ok but still the boot release is not working does the red/blue wire on the CLM connector go stright to the door motor or does it make the CLM open the boot? I have checked the fueses and none are gone unless the boot has a different fues somewhere. Does anyone know what wires on the CLM are for the boot handle switch and does the turning on and off of the boot motor work off the same switch in the barrel as the open close for the central locking? Any help? Many Thanks.

Hi sorry if this sound silly but can this unit be used still if the actual central locking control is not working ie doors dont lock when the key is used? Many Thanks if you can help as I would like to replace the central locking controller for this unit as its been water damaged!

Hi I have problems with my controller unit, it was working as far as drivers door and fuel cap locking, windows would close and open on the key. I removed the unit and found a small amount of damage to the board I have repaired this but now when I put the unit back into the car nothing works at all I have checked the fuses and all seem fine! I would like to know if there is a way to bench test this unit and if poss does anyone know what all the wires go to ie colour codes for cables. Does the unit need resetting once its powered back up and if so how? Also does anyone know what the relay is for next to this unit its marked 79? Thanks for any help
