  1. Have a look at this and let me know if it useful ; Steel wheels - Sharan/Alhambra/Galaxy. Cheers,
  2. Steel rims offset on an early (mk1) Galaxy - can anyone confirm it is ET55, same as VW.
  3. Thanks gys for the feedback so far. If the part number for sharan/alhambra 15 " steel wheels is = 7M0601027A (6 JX15H2 ET55 5/112) What is the Galaxy part no. Cheers.
  4. Why the Sharan first ? I was going to anyway but ........
  5. Hey there everyone, my current project is a parts cross-reference resource for the Sharan / Galaxy / Alhambra. It will cover every model from it's first launch to present. The purpose being so that we hopefully have more options when searching for parts for these motors. I will be wading through every piece of part data possible on these 3 vehicles and compiling it alltogether in one place. It should hopefully include the interchangeability of everything from a cup-holder to an exhaust system and everthing in between. I NEED YOUR HELP !! If anyone has eperience of interchanging parts between these vehicles, then please at it onto this thread. I will keep you all posted with the progress. Carl - http://www.carbasics.co.uk
  6. Hi, I drive a VW Sharan 1.9 tdi diesel and did an article on how to change an air mass meter. I have been asked a question by a galaxy owner about whether the article would also apply to his engine and what make the air mass meter would most likely be. I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to have a look at the advice on my site and let me know if it has any relevance to a Ford Galaxy. The web page is ; http://www.carbasics.co.uk/how_to_change_air_mass_meter.htm Thanks in advance. PS - this is not a shameless plug, if the info on my site is relevant then I can alter my page to suit.
  7. There are always restrictions with standard exhausts over performance for a number of reasons. Milltek do an aftermarket exhaust for the mk2 sharan that releases a shed load of power on its own without any other mods, just shows how restrictive the original must be.
  8. I pit my 6x9's in the front doors. I elongated the round holes of the original speakers, they had a collar/spacer included with them so they sat quite proud of the outer door card and did not foul the window/mechanism inside the door. I was feeling brave that day, look and sound good though. Looking for that image of where best to fit speakers in the rear, anyone got it ?? Carl.
  9. Can anyone email me that picture as I can't download it (must be me). PM me and I will give you my email address. Cheers in advance.
