anyone???? im really stuck

hi guys, a couple of weeks ago my wipers stopped completly and i traced it down to the wiper control module that sits next to the wiper motor. i have managed to get a secondhand one, but now the wipers are running all the time even if the switch is set to off, if i pull the internittent relay out then the internottent part only works if i hold the stalk down but it loses the park function and the wipers just stop wherever i let go of the stalk. can anyone help me as i need the car back badly, many thanks, john

there a vr6 engine still cheap on ebay at the mo, you may want to keep an eye on it mate

the clock, radio, int light and bootlid open warning light are all covered on the same fuse as i had the fuse go a couple of weeks ago, so this could be right, john.

if ti is crankshaft or piston related then you could argue that and out of balance flywheel WILL put extra stresses on the crank and piston that they were not designed for. Hi we had the flywheel changed 6 weeks ago, cluch failed this weekend [no pedel movement, after 2 attempts the problem was solved [we hope] by fitting another new flywheel they said the previos one was warped. our car is the same model, milage and year as yours. or, as i did, crawl under the back, unwind the lot, cover everything with grease, put spare back in, total cost

nah, i cleared the code but it comes back straight away. car runs perfectly though??

used vag-com today and very impressed. it gave me the foolowing code but i dont know what the problem could be, any help. 1 fault found 00533 - idle speed regulation 14-00 - adaptation limit (add) exceeded its a galaxy 2.8 v6 1996 vintage

after reading various posts i could understand that would be why the display is flashing but what about the blower going on and off intermittantly?

went out the other night and when i started the galaxy up the climate control panel was flashing for about 5 seconds or so, now the front fan/blower only works sometimes and then goes back off again, also i noticed that temp thing next to the blower speed disply would read 55deg c and once driving would slowly drop down to aroun 5-6 deg c. any ideas guys

anyone then????. does anyone alsso have the steering column stalk too as this is missing

i just bought a galaxy 2.8 ghia x 1996 p-reg model, the guy took out the original fit radio/cd cahnger unit and the column mounted control stalk and has refitted a ford 2006rds unit, this unit wont work because the connecting plugs are different. the one for the power etc works ok as they are both of the flat type pins, but the other connector has round pins and the other socket hasa flat type pins again. i want to fit the original gear back in , so what should i be looking for so i can trawling through ebay, any help guys, cheers, john.
