Sorted, lol, when I unhooked the wiring loom so I could solder the wires, I forgot to plug the wiper plug back in, long day I blame it on. Lol Mark

Nope, Now I have an issue with the rear wiper motor, cables seem to be fine, but neither new or old motor will work, checked fuses etc. Blooming cars, why do I bother. Mark

Seems to be sorted now, for some reason 2 wires on the new loom on the tailgate is in a different place from the original so cut and resolder, all appears to be fine at the mo. Mark

Hi all , Just replaced the tailgate with another, I changed the barrel and lock over from my old tailgate, now the central locking is playing up. When locking the car from the tailgate all doors lock except the drivers door, this closes about 1 in 5 times, sometimes when I unlock again the handle on the drivers door appears to go further in. The car won't lock at all from the drivers door. I have checked connections on the tailgate etc, still no luck. Does it need synchronising after fiddling around etc ? Thanks Mark

Hiya all, Just got my Ford Galaxy 2.3 Zetec, 2000 V reg, as the speakers have been beaten up in the back and grills are damaged front and back, I thought it may be a good idea to upgrade my speakers! I know there are "component" speakers up front, is there a need to upgrade the tweeter on the dash ? if so are there any there retro fit ? I assume there are crossovers on the front components so these maybe able to be kept. Am I right in thinking that the back door speakers are just standard speakers, not part of the component setup ? Also has anyone had any luck with upgrading to a nice sounding speaker system at the same as retaing the door grills ? for security aspect. Not sure on what head unit will be fitted yet, but for sure it will have MP3 at least, would like bluetooth as well for the phone not sure yet on finances etc, as planning to fit screens aswell if I pluck up the courage to cut linings etc. Thanks in advance for any comments Mark

Hi all, thats a nice idea about the VAG-Com owners, I have a Galaxy 2.3 Zetec 2000 V-reg, anyone near Bristol or Exeter wth VAG-com, I seem to have an issue at the moment with my choke/accelerator ?? When I accelerate and change gear, when the clutch is down my revs seem to rush upto 3200 rpm-ish then idle back down, any ideas ??? Also I see there something else called "freescan" will this talk to Ford engines ? anyone know. Thanks in advance Mark

Hi chap, will the kit be ok for my Galaxy 2.3 Zetec, having just brought the motor I only have 2 keys with it, neither of which have the remote button, it does have central locking, I would have thought that it would have had remote central locking being a V reg 2000 model. Thanks in advance Mark
