  1. The pinned photo gallery seems to be used more for just random pics people want to post which is why I suggested having one which would just be used for people to show off their cars and/or any mods they have recently done or have sections within it for car pics and general pics etc. I realise a lot more thought would have to go into it if it did happen especially with regard to whether photos are hosted by this site or linked to external sites and seeing as I made the suggestion I'd be more than happy to help out with creating it if needed. I just wanted other peoples opinions because I have always liked the photo gallerys on other car forums that I have used in the past and thought it might be of use to others. (Also a big thanks to mumof4 for changing the section! )
  2. I don't know if it's been discussed before but I was just wondering if anybody else thinks that it might be a good idea to have a section created for members to post pictures of their cars and to post pics of any new bits like alloys etc? Obviously pictures would have to be linked to and not stored on the sites server.
  3. The best way i've found to diagnose a slipping clutch is to drive up quite a steep hill and floor the accelarator. The revs will probably shoot up to the redline without evening going 1mph faster (just like they would if the car was in neutral.)
  4. Thanks for that mate, could off ended up with it all on the floor. Will go with steve's way as that sounds easier and is obviously a lot safer. Will let you know how I get on. Joe
  5. Thanks again steve, that's exactly what I needed to know. Look's like i'll be taking out the battery and tray later. Cheers Joe
  6. Cheers Steve, This is the hose i'm talking about but I need to know where the other end should be connected. http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j88/joeyv6/CCPump.jpg From what I can see in my engine bay it should connect up by the battery tray but can't see any obvious connections.
  7. Hi everyone. I've just purchased an R plate 4x4 V6 Ghia X Auto and the cruise control isn't working. I've read the other posts about it and when I checked the pipe behind the indicator it was perished but the other prob I have is that the other end of the pipe has come off :) . Could one of you please help as I can't see where it should connect up to and a photo would really help. Thanks in advance, Joe
