  9. can you add a bit of wire with solder ? if you carnt get your pillar cover off the wires will run along the inner sill
  10. again on the mk1 upto 2000; the charge pressure control valve has vac pipes coming off it ,and you also have a charge/air temp sensor on the air duct from the intercooler to the intake manifold , some one with a mk2, will have to give you their locations

  14. yep , was in the south ,i was kipping on a bench ,the wife an kids in the car, and heard them creaping towards the car , had powerful torch and baseball bat , kept the torch on them and woke everone else up, then exited quick if we stop now for a snoooze i find the fuel services are safer

  20. Yep.... She should have had her CBT before riding it on the road with L Plates, then to remove L Plates she needs to pass her Motorcycle theory test and then her Moped practical. Bummer :o poor kids , they don't stand a chance, ;) It's for their own safety though. They would stand less of a chance of living if involved in an accident because they didnt have the correct road training! carnt see it hairy, they've already been on the road for a year, then passed a driving test , bit late for another moped test surely

  23. on the mk 1 , its a small vac pipe on the rear of the airfilter box , not sure on the mk 2, but its worth checking them all , before buying a maf
