  1. Hello, about removing the amp. Do you have a cc module or manual ac ? Since I need to remove the amp as well but I can't get my cc module out. It is stuck from the left hand side and refuses to come out no matter you pull the module. I have tried to various styles of removal but I cannot even tell what is keeping it stuck. The Haynes manual says "release the spring lock from the center and gently! pull the console out". Gently is a relative term but I do think that I have applied gentle power with no success. I reckon that some of the previous owners have taken it out and then somehow messed the system while putting it back. Any advice about the removal would be greatly appreciated ! About my audio problems. The amp / speakers make a "pop" sound everytime it turn the power on or off. Also the left center (2nd row door) and rear (3rd row) speakers are dead. It seems that there is something wrong with the amp, it wears out the battery in 3-4 days if the car is not being used. I have tried to check the speakers wires from the left hand side but as far as I can tell they seem to be ok. Moving on... I'd like to connect my iPod to car stereos as well but the Ford 2007R RDS don't have that option. Unless I connect my iPod to cd box input with ridiculously expensive adapter (sold in Germany). It if I change the original for another brand head unit, is it possible to still connect the cd box and original stearing wheel remove to that head unit, together with iPod ??? I do not know anything about car audio, so bear my question. Martsa
