I've had a drive of the new smax and the new Galaxy. Both a great looking and practical but the new double front roof columns really annoyed me and gave the impression of a massive blind spot. The Previa was the closest thing I found and I've test driven quite a few mpvs over the past few months before settling on the Galaxy.
