  1. If you were in Cornwall I'd recommend D&T Motors of Penryn. Ex-Ford Service manager with the main dealer over the back wall for access to OEM parts, but about half the price. Phil.
  2. Wonder if anyone has any experience of using the EcoFlow (aka Motoflow) or much cheaper Easy Fuel Saver?
  3. Sounds as if it might be a well known problem with the Mass Air Flow Meter. See http://www.fordgalaxy.org.uk/ford/index.ph...=air+flow+meter
  4. Is that your wife in the pictures linked from your signature then? Those drop links look fine!
  5. Make sure you buy replacement lock nuts from accessory shop with a better patent than the cr@p Ford ones with a wiggly circle. Phil.
  6. Apparently you can only use 100% Biodiesel in 1999 onwards (because of the hoses) up to mid-2004. See http://www.vegetableoildiesel.co.uk/forum/...read.php?tid=75 and search down to '2004'. Seems a bit backward looking (or are the manufacturers in the pockets of the oil companies)? Phil.
  7. I've tried putting a few registrations of my old cars into that site, it always returns 31 December YYYY as the manufacture date... :D True, my 99 Gal was first registered in May 99, but the site said it wasn't manufacturered until 31 December. Even better, it said my '72 MG Midget was manufactured 1 january 0001 !!!!!!
  8. I've wondered the same and concluded that I'll stick with the TDi. Once everyone switches to LPG the government will stick the tax up (like they've done with diesel). Where do you get the idea that LPG would give better mpg, I thought it would be similar to petrol? Phil.
  9. My O/S/F one started doing that before it failed altogether (cable got all caught up). If you end up buying a replacement remember VW will sell the regulator without the motor, unlike Ford! Phil
  10. I'm sure I saw on the telly that calcium gives you healthy teeth & bones! java script:emoticon('', 'smid_4')
  11. Hi folks, just a bit of advice to anyone who has problems with the window regulator (funny name for the wire loop than opens & closes the windows). There's lots of posts on the forum about this, and mine got all jammed up when a strand of the wire broke and unwound. Ford's would only a supply a new regulator with motor (
