is the remote fob the same for radio and infra red? and also where are the posts for converting to radio?

hi i wonder if you could help me a have a ford galaxy 2.8v6 n reg and it didnt have a remote keyfob when got it only a black key it has centrel locking and has an alarm module under the passenger seat and 2 domes front and rear which have been told are ir receivers i purchased a remote key fob off ebay for a seat as told is same its a siemens 5wk4 790/97/98 but cannot get it to work by how been told to do also found out that some models where ird and later where radio wave could you help please do i require a different type of remote keyfob also how can you tell if fob is sending out signal?

hi i have a ford galaxy v6 nreg and its make a chugging noise it comes and goes i have located it to the purge valve when i disconnect it goes its like a pulsing noise when pipes off but connect pipe and makes a chugging noise any help please

where can i get evap purge valve from apart from dealers

hi its not a lose bolt noise it more of a pump sort of noise as it sort of switches off for a few minutes then starts again for a few minutes purge valve ?????????????????? glen won't let us have it !!!!!! wheres the purge valve would that make a noise
