Crispy creme

Im trying to work out where my alternator belt is. I thought it should be just on the end of the alt bit i cant see it. Seems to be driven from further away somewhere. Also i have one single black and blue wire coming from the alternator rather than 3. Anyone know what it does? Cant find a diagram.

The problem im having is that the battery light comes on 15-20 secs after startup sometimes and only goes off if i immeadiatley rev engine to about 3000 rpm.

My car uses smart charge but only via 1 wire, i believe it goes straight to the pcm. Can anyone tell me where this is located and what number terminal it goes to as i need to test it for continuity. My car us a 2009 ford galaxy 1.8.

One of the fuel injector runoff connections is leaking. Been told it probaly kuat needs an o ring. Is this a straight-forward job ir better off at a garage? 09 ford galaxy 1.8 diesel manual

Just been told this doesnt have a 3 pin smart charge. Rather a 1 cable connection?

Ive had a new battery fitted (RAC) Aand a new alternator (halfords) on my 2009 ford galaxy. Im still getting my battery light coming on 15-20 secs after startup every so often. It seems that its falling into 'default/safety mode' when this happens, as it is still charging, just at 13.7 volts. Ive read about a broken wire on the alternator harness that can cause a similar fault. Has anyone any experience with this?
