Sheepview

I have a galaxy diesel tdi 1999. Which I am having difficulty starting. No sure if this is classed as a mk1 or mk2 model. The engine turns until the battery drains. My battery is only 5 months old. I have charged it several times and it seems ok for 2 days. Then it is flat again. The engine is turning, but not firing. Any helpful suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
