Hi sorry to start a new topic as I have seen lots on power loss on this site but am still confused. My situation is my 1.9Tdi Galaxy 1998 developed intermittent power loss in february and it has happened a few times since. Symptoms are no unusual engine noises or warnings but a loss of acceleration and power, if you stop the car and switch the ignition off the fault clears and returns to normal. On advice from the previous owner I changed the MAF sensor but this made no difference. I have now discovered a mate with vag-com, the first code he found was - "0057 inlet manifold pressure intermittent". He then cleared the codes for me. After it happened again he checked and got -"00575 intake manifold pressure 17-00 control difference". Can anybody please help me with what the codes mean and what I might have to do to rectify the fault. Andy.
