Ford Galaxy Window Problem

Hello, I have just bought a 2005 Ford Galalxy Ghia Tdi. When i open the drivers window and then close it, the window goes all the way up and then goes back down to about halfway. I then have to keep my finger on the button in order to close it. Does anybody know what the problem is ? I am thinking of a faulty regulator ? Thanks Paul :5:
