if you have the serial number you can generate a code. if you have the right program from the internet.

whats your fuel consumption like ,,,may be running rich ?

i would stay away from auto box...and the tdi sounds expensive to me

2.3 are ok but stay away from the auto box,there are a lot for sale with auto box problems on ebay so i thing they have there fair share of problems. also check all door electric work and air-con . hope this helps
