I have got an 07 plate 1.8 TDCi which sounds like it is missfiring at low revs and tickover, however, once you give it a bit of poke the missing/vibration subsides. I have had the car put on a test computer at the local dealer and that didn't come up with anything. A mechanic friend of mine suggested that it could possibly be the DMF but without actually changing it we wouldn't find out if that were the case or not. Obviously I don't want to go spending a load of money of that if it isn't likely to be the problem. Can anyone help?
