  1. Magic. Do you have an example of the product you used?
  2. Hi there Bought a 2001 Ghia - it's got a casette player as attached. I'd to connect my mp3 player - ideally with a standard 3.5mm male-male cable - but there's no aux/line-in on the stereo. Is there any recommended best way to do this? I could just get one of the cheap casette-things like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Car-in-Dash-Tape-Audio-Cassette-MP3-Player-Adaptor-3-5mm-Aux-Male-Cable-For-iPod-/270836200925?pt=UK_AudioVideoElectronics_PortableAudio_MP3PlayerCarKits&hash=item3f0f1875dd but I was hoping for something a bit more proper!
  3. so if I understand you right then I need H1? Is the replacement easy to do?
  4. Hi there Just bought a second hand Mk II Galaxy Ghia and one of the headlamps has went already. I'm pretty new to this - so I thought I'd check the details here. The bottom picture is the light on full beams - with the main light not working. The other pictures are dipped, and side lights, which seem to be identical? I called a garage and was quoted just shy of £200 to replace the headlamp. Surely it shouldn't cost this much?
  5. Hi there Got a big crack on my windscreen and need it replaced. Was wondering if anyone had recommendations for cheap/reliable windscreen replacement - hopefully onsite. Also - is a significant benefit to have a heated screen over non-heated? I've been quoted £109 by http://www.capitalwindscreens.com/special-offers/offer-1.html not managed to find much feedback on them yet though.
  6. Thanks guys - appreciate it. Assumed there'd just be a big AC button. Great!
  7. Bought a secondhand 2001 Ghia diesel, advertised as having air conditioning - but now I've got used to the car I'm struggling to see the air conditioning. I didn't think it was possible to get a Ghia without it. These are the control buttons I can see. Have I been scammed?
  8. Thanks guys, Really appreciate it. I actually managed to find a link that said it was about 2.1m http://charmcitycbc.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/volkswagen-sharan-2010.html Fantastic! Ford Galaxy it is then.
  9. Hi there Thinking of buying a 2000-2006 Galaxy to transport bits and pieces e.g. Ikea stuff, other furniture, but only occasionally people. To get a sense of whether it's big enough, I'm trying to find the exact dimensions of the boot with only the front seats in - then figure out what I could fit in it. It's easy enough to get the dimensions of the whole car, but not this specific info, so does anyone know? Want to see if I could fit our sofa in, or a disassembled double bed etc.
