Yep ours does this, has done for about a year! Have full Fraud warranty but get the usual fob off from the main dealer: 1. Can't see it can't fix it 2. Hot Days do it 3. Are you sure your pressing the button correctly? 4. Just one of those things live with it! Would be nice to find a cure anybody??

I bought a HID Upgrade kit from eBay last year for my Alfa 156 but didn't get chance to fit it. Just realised the Galaxy has H7 Bulbs so will probably fit to the GAL instead of selling now. The only way to replace the bulbs i found the quickest was to remove the 3 bolts for the headlights and remove the entire units. :rolleyes:

Dude Sounds cool, was it really that easy, any tips as it's my next plan of action. have you upgraded the manual heating controls to Climate Control? Any other mods you have completed details would be excellent and advice. Duncan

Nice job dude, id be interested to see where you got all your DVD Screens from and the fitting pictures. I've got the hollow headrests as well but i've just noticed on my X Plate Focus 2.0 Zetec the seat cloth colour is the same as my Galaxy that also includes the solid headrests. Looks like a straight swap and hey presto solid same colour headrests!! You could probably source a set from partsfinder. Hope that helps!

Yep i thought that as well! Just make sure that you clean the area that the upper chrome strip sticks to first with a good all purpose cleaner then let it dry. I stuck the upper chrome strip on 3 months ago and it's still stuck on nice and firm! No drilling required :D

Mine came with the Ford Badge as mine was minging as well. Nice and shiney for a few weeks until the stone chips took effect! :ph34r:

I could understand if the unit worked all OK, but it didn't the SAT NAV capability was completly rubbish never worked. So i could appreciate that you are on the sellers side for this one, i'm just trying to stop other people being misled by false claims of an easy install. It's not; there are a lot of things that need to be done to make an MFD work fully and being a novice 5 days was not enough! I signed up for this and read the T&C but f you also read the Unit still din't work even when running. So i reiterate this guy is a con artist by selling goods by defrauding!

He also clearly states that easy to fit! But that wasn't the case and when i did get the unit to power up the SAT NAV Capability was very inaccurate, not really worth it at the end of the day. So i purchased a TomTom 700

Does any body know the part number of the CD Changer that is compatible with the SAT NAV MFD Unit as i had a 6000 CD Unit with CD Changer and that Changer's plug to connect to the head Unit is different. So i purchased the coorect loom to run from the Head Unit to the Changer and now that Plug is different so i need to purchase a new changer :huh: So does anybody know the correct part number or where i can get one from? They seem to be pretty far between on eBay. Help appreciated! ;)

I'm stuck with the front footwell lights, the area's are there to mount the lights but a loom, blanking plates? Can somebody please take some pics, there must be somebody with a Digital Camera to take some pics? Come on help your fellow Galaxy owners!
