before i start my own car is the Alhambra 1.9tdi SE (110) all the vaccum hose that are on the car to do with the engine management will need replaced as will be slightly perished saying the least if you no of someone who has got a vacuum tester in which you block one end and connect the other to the vacuum tester, pressure up and see if the reading goes down as it will probably will as if you put it onto diagnostics and it comes up with the MAP sensor that can be related to a numerous things as the map sensors is intergrated into the ECU which is stuck up under the dash behind the clocks etc if you decide to do pipes take one of at a ctime measure and cut then replace as you go that way wont get any mixed up and there is one that goes down to back of the engine so will need to remove the plastic undertray there is one that goes fromone of the modulators near/behind the fuel filter which runs along under the bulkhead which also runs above the brake master cylinder and down through the bulkhead in to the car and up to the ecu(map sensor) if you are doing this an easy way is to unplug the end from the intercooler pipe and conect it to the new one i used a snug fitting drill bit which i taped up and sprayed it with plenty of spraygrease( only grease the bits that is taped up) , then remove the panel that is under the steering column to gain access ( need to remove the panel at the dashboard next to gearstick consul as it covers a screw for the panel which is under the steering column but make sure you have an idea of the route of the pipe onec you are ready start pulling the new pipe throgh at stages likes of from behind fuel filter then onto the brake cylinder , once you have got it to there make sure the temp. joint is still lubricated up as when it goes down by the servo/brake mase cylinder, it goes down and turns into the car via a rubber grommit(that what the lubrication is for , so it passes through and doesn`t snag or bind as if does and snaps will give you problems, but take your time and will go through no probs after you got it through into the car pull it throught he rest of the sections and unplug the end at the ECU cutt he joint bit off and the plce into the ecu. jobs a good yun i got my pipe from a company called PIRTEX cost about
