Does anybody know if it is possible to change the odometer display from miles to km. I have exported my UK 2004 galaxy 2.3 petrol automatic to Italy and would like to permanently change the mileage counter to km. I have read the posts from members that have accidentally changed their odometer to km, usually when trying to reset the service indicator, but these posts focus on how to change it back to miles and aren't specific enough about the actions to make the change to km. In any case, I am seeking a pemanent switch, that will not revert to miles when I next reset the service indicator. I live in a fairly rural part of Southern Italy and the nearest Ford main dealer could be some distance, so I am hoping there will be a method that can be accomplished by the local mechanic, using third party OBD tools.
