hi, join'd here as im helping my uncle look for a galaxy. he needs to be able tow his caravan so were looking at maybe buying a 2.3, as the 2.0 seem too small for a car the size of the galaxys and the 2.8 is a no no due to fuel, he would have a diesel but most seem out of his budget so that leaves us with the 2.3 which seems ideal. were just wondering how reliable the auto boxes are, how many miles can you get out of them before they break, same question for the engine aswell lol. seen a fair few galaxys with over 100k miles and alot of them autos, which he doesnt mind having so long as there reliable and ok for towing a caravan. cheers andy
