Same here, was a fuse, 46 off the top of my head (thats a guess by the way, don't quote me) I did find the answer using search on here but it took a while!

I drive a ghia spec and it does not have them

Theres often a fuse on the stereo itself, usually a blade fuse in the back, or one inline. (Assuming you mean no fuses in the car have blown?) Or Duff head unit?

I've 18's on mine, the ride is hard, but I put that mostly down to the suspension, its the road noise that can drive you to distraction. Tyres are not 'that' bad!

I've got one very similar (no sunroof, 6 seats, and 1.9tdi 115) I paid 3,2 for it a year ago on a Y plate (2000)

Alright folks, dunno if this has been posted before, but do not buy from the supplier listed, known con artist. Having some dealings with him at the moment, not a happy puppy. And if you do a quick google, you'll find I'm not alone.

Same symptoms, fuse 32 to blame. Thank you very much, nice easy fix for a change.

How much for the boot cover matey?

Does it overheat quickly, or slowly? Does the heater work? Any oil or coolant loss?

I've got a lovely black mk2 115 tdi ghia. totally love the car, its space, comfort, power and economy are perfect for family life and hispeed commuting to work every day. However, The electrics are shocking, Parking sensors fubar Clock fubar Central locking outta sync DVD headrests not working trip computer resets every trip front speakers crackly as feck, rears not wonderful. I've had the waterpump impellor go, got the cambelt done at the same time. last MOT required a windscreen, track rod end and two typres, perfectly acceptable. As winters here very soon, I'll have time to start figuring out somes of these issues i hope!

Don't suppose he mentioned which fuse? Central Locking, ABS?
