Thanks Mirez for answering that for me. And so promptly too! I'll get a blade cut and then I'll have 3 keys. I'll be ok if my husband loses a key then . :)

I have 2 original keys which are both programmed to the PATS system. I have bought another key second hand and programmed it to operate the central locking. I would like to get a replacement blade cut and then using my original keys, program the new one to start the car. Can I re-program the transponder or are they programmable only once? Thanks to anyone that can confirm this one way or the other.
