DEAR FRIENDS I HAVE A GALAXY 97,WHICH SOMETIMES WONT START....IT WILL TURN OVER....AND IF YOU PUSH RELAY 30 IN WITH YOUR FINGER....STARTS UP....IVE BEEN TOLD BY A AUTO ELECTRICIAN THAT THERE IS A DRY JOINT BEHIND THE RELAY ON THE FUSE BOX AND NEEDS A NEW FUSE BOX........IS THIS RITE,OR IS THE ANYWAY ROUND THIS PROBLEM....AS MONEY IS TIGHT.........PS HAVE TRIED A NEW RELAY AND THE SAME HAPPENS...............IS A NEW FUSE BOX THE ONLY OPTION......HOW MUCH WOULD I EXPECT TO PAY ANY FEED BACK WOULD BE VERY VERY WELCOME PLEASE HELP WARMEST REGARDS 1310

hi all my mark 1 2.o petrol galaxy is over heating when the engine is under load.....losing no water and the oil is clear....can anyone sugust what it could be....the fan is cuttin in,but it still over heats......someone sugested it could be the water pump,are they exspemsive please help

hi dear galaxy owners im a single mum with 2 children ....creep creep....my temp gauge goes up to 75% then the fan kicks in...is this normal....it seems to run with the gauge showing 75% of its range....on about the M OF NORNAL.....is this ok or have i got a problem thank you...please give any advice you can regards 1310

can anyone throw some light on this problem please please.....car went throu mot no probs....than a couble of weeks later heard back bracks grindindinding.....before i got it to a garage the brake pedal has gone to the floor and the hand brake has become useless any ideas.....please regards mx

matt very kindly sent in a breakdown of how to get the drivers door panel off....unfortnatly i never stated that mine is a mark 1 and is very diffrent....can anyone,please please please give me some advice on to how to get the trim on drivers door off a mark one gal regards 1310

ive a 97 2.0 petrol gal...it never wants to warm up,and the cabin heater doesnt as well....the only glue i have is that when its warm outside the engine and heater do warm up a little...but if its cold outside the engine and heater stay cold......also if you drive at speed the engine and heater get cooler...any ideas please regards

hello dear friends....creep creep....wonder if any one can help....got a 1997 gal 2.0petrol....when you stop at traffic lites etc the engine will run at about 1400rev....then drop down to 800rev after about 15 seconds.....as far as i no the car has not had a service for 9000miles....could it be as simple as it needs a service any advice would be of great help regards -

dear friends i have a 1996 gal 2.0 that developed the water in the passenger footwell...i took idcice from you guys and cleaned out the drain by the pollen filter on the passenger side...problem solved.....however i couldnt locate a drain whole on the drivers side....is there one....as a footnote to this when you pour water down the drivers side it COMES OUT FROM THE PASSENGER SIDE BEHIND THE FRONT WHEEL...IM CONFUSED,WHICH IS NOT HARD FOR ME ANY ADVICE WOULD BE VERY WELCOME KIND REGARDS AND HAPPY XMAS TO YOU ALL

ive i 1996 gal 2.0 gxl...this may be a silly question but there is a switch on the dash above the windsceen and rear demister switches...when you press it you can hear a fan come on somewere around the back seats...is it just a rear heater...as a footnote,when you turn it on it stops the rear demister from working regards

hi dear friends i have a 1996 gal...ont of the lites seem to have blown at the back of the instrument panel,behind the petrol gauge on the left as your seated...this is going to sound daft...but can anyone tell me howto get to the bulb regards 1310

hello dear friends ive just bought a 96 gal thats come with three keys....one does the remote and doors and starts it..the second is a flat key that opens the doors and starts it...and the third is a red key that seems to do what the second does....can anyone please tell me the diffrence between all three...you may have gatherded im new to this regards 1310 thank you

hello friends a couple of guys have told me how to change the brake lite switch,,,but they just said to remove the trim under steering wheel...sorry to be a pain but how do you remove tha trim....i cant seem to see how to get it off....so to speak regards martin mxxx

dear friends,ive been told that i need to replace my brake lite switch which i asume is at the top of the brake pedal can anone give me some help...is it a hard job...get a novice like myself do it...any advice or instructions would be much gratful regards

wonder if anyone out there can throw me any help....i can programme my remote key to work fine...put after using it about 4 or 5 unlocks and locks...so to speak....it stops working you then have to go thru the reseting mode again.... its driving me mad regards
