  1. Hi, hope someone can help, I have a 2009 2.0 petrol galaxy. This morning after driving about 400 metres from cold, my galaxy stalled when pulling up at a junction, managed to re start the car [just] but could not get the revs to rise for a while, no matter how much I pushed down on the accelerator. Have since noticed that when slowing at junctions etc, the revs seem to drop to around the 500-750 rpm mark. Anyone got any ideas what might be causing this?
  2. Thanks for that, I have also posted it in the Mk3 section.
  3. Does anyone know what would cause the revs on my 2009 galaxy 2.0 petrol to fall away suddenly when starting to pull away from a standing start, almost causing you to stall? In addition to this, the revs also rise suddenly when the accelerator is pressed lightly and then just as quickly fall again without any movement on the accelerator, this makes for difficulty in getting the balance right between accelerator and clutch. Ford have had it for 3 days and seem to think that this is quite normal, which I don`t agree with. I have never experienced this before on other cars [previously owned a 2003 galaxy]
  4. Thanks for the reply, I`ll take your advice and try the Mk3 section [was obviously in too much of a rush to post my issue]
