Hey mate, thanks for the reply - appreciate it. It certainly would be a great upgrade from my point of view. I also have a full version of vagcom so im hoping that i can correct mileage on any new clocks (if it isnt done automatically) to what it should be. When you say i could need to wire the stalk to the clocks, is there anywhere i can find out how to do this just in case? I wouldnt know where to start with a wiring diagram to be honest. I noticed you retrofitted a sharan clock - is this the most technically sophisticated version available? I would prefer one with a digital readout of range, mpg, outside temp etc if possible. I had an A4 which had the same problem and just plugged and played for some of the newer clocks with no problems, so was hoping it would be simple. Good old VAG eh?
