Ello Need to get a new front pipe and cat fitted just got back from local garage they want to charge me

Hi Is i a good idea to fit a new lambda sensor while i replace the front pipe ??? also anyone know how many wires the sensor has ?? where can i get 1 from ?? Thankyou

Hi Does anyone know how to take off the under tray underneth the engine as i have to replace the exhaust front pipe and the cat just had a look at the tray and i can see no bolts or screws Thankyou

I had something like this it turned out to be a breather pipe at the back of the engine took a while to find as its quite dark the pipe was coming lose over a 3 week period then one day it was the same as you decribe but once fitted back on the put a cable tie round it and touch wood been ok since

Me galaxy just passed mot lucky enough i changed both from indicator bulbs last week as they looked abit white looking while flashing but i have been advisory notice to change offside rear / offside front brake pipes due to slightly corroded very slight are these easy to change ?? cheers

Hi Firstly is was to keep me stum secondly safety third my solicitor said if it went to court it will go into local papers and they did'nt want the publicity or maybe tv coverage There was noway i was gunna let it go everyone involved was on my side i received a full written apoligy from the company with payment and the goodwill payment for the original tyres. And the person responsible for fitting me tyres has been sacked or so they say They will also check on all tyres fitted now and in the future Mustie

I got the result i wanted centre exhaust fitted as it should of been in the first place :D :D

HI Phoned trading standards this morning they were very helpful they took the details and i was Told to write them a letter and quote " to supply goods and services act " 1982 ( common law act ) 1982 And give them 7 days to replace the cente section or i will and can take it further with trading standards So this i done Took the galaxy to the garage had a moan and i told them that i had spoken to trading standards today before i knew what was happening me galaxy was up on the ramps and the parts book in his hand and phone in the other He ordered 2 parts same as these http://www.buypartsby.co.uk/exhausts_detai...p?recordID=1000 Hopefully when i return at 3pm it will be done and the centre section fitted and no more trips to them Heres keeping fingers crossed Andy The fitter tryed to keep fobbing me of with SOMEONE HAS CUT THE FLANGE OF THE CAT till he looked in the parts book haha :D :D

Hi went to see the manager on friday and yeap he was'nt there I am going back on monday as it started blowing again yesterday i am gunna demand some sort of refund as i am on hoilday in just over a week so i want it done b4 then as traveling to norwich so i will be doing just over a 1000 miles and with the blow bye bye petrol sod that so i might have to order 1 on-line and fit it meslf cheers

i have a 97 galaxy and i have no idea if my air con works or not theres no change it tempreture inside when i put it on .... just something else to go wrong how can i tell if its working or not blower motor i have on 2 tempreture dial is set to cold and push the air con button in ??

just took it to another garage they told me the disc's dont need changing and i agreee with him sorry the mileage when i bought the car was 76,835 so i have only done 12,733 miles since it new discs fitted just found out mot for 2003 to 2004 cheers can the handbrake to tightened up from under the galaxy ????/ as the travel is up to 7 clicks now , used to be 5 clicks up

I had new brake disc's all round 3 years in september this year when i bought the car its had 69,566 miles on the clock now it has 89,568 and i think me rear pads need changing my local garage said i also need new rear disc's but to my t me they still look good no heavy lip on the outside what do u guys rek0on ??

Hi i just fitted a cobra 1046 remote system only had 4 wires to connect , i put the unit under the drivers seat ran the wires under the plastic trim . Hi Just bought a COBRA 1046 REMOTE CENTRAL LOCKING kit but me 3 yr old daugter just got hold of the instuctions now they are unreadable GGGGGRRRRRRR kids hey :10: -_- so me needs to know how / and where to wire it in the loom of the car cheers

UPDATE Just gotta mirror put it behind the engine and i found that a pipe ( quite a big pipe) had come off put it back on and hey presto all ok starts runs drives normal cheers for all your input guys n girls
