hi all , ive got a r reg galaxy 2.3 petrol manual ,had it a good few years ran well , but the other day my wife said light was flashing on the temp guage went to work in it the other day and on the motorway the battery light and oil light came on , lost power ,slight knockin noise from engine but not really loud and then died on me , wont start lights come on but nothig from the engine recovered by rac , they said the engine has possibly locked up or seized oil was a bit low water was a bit low but not empty not in the garage yet , but wondered if any ideas what it could be , hope it not a knackered engine but will have to wait and see cheers rob
