no good, round here the cheapest quote i had so far is 600-700 quid

there are so mant stories about what happens when a belt breaks. but how do i find out what engine is in my galaxy. its a 1999 tdi, i have been told there is a vw engine in it, the valves do go straight up and down, one cam follower is broken, the tensioner slipped and the belt went about 45 degrees out, it ran for a while but eventually died, please give me some good news
