  1. Hi, I had a similar problem with my 06 mk2 and after reading member's advice decided to clean the MAF. When I looked under the bonnet I noticed that the garage ( Ford dealer) which serviced my car two months ago hadn't reconnected the air filter main hose to the engine. Basic stuff I know, but worth a check. Car now working as it should. Thanks for member's help finding the problem.
  2. Hi mate, I don't know if this is related to your problem but twice I have had faulty Goodyear tyres on the rear of the Gal. I once swapped the rear tyres with the front ones and then the fault really showed up, vibrating through the steering wheel at about 55MPH. I now run Pirelli P6s and have found them to last longer. 3. Hi mate, I think they should switch off as soon as you put the car into a forward gear. I have had a different problem with mine; they only work when the weather is wet, and I get a continuous bleep when it's dry. Were the sensors easy to change?

  6. Hi, I'm new to the site so this may have come up in the past. My proximity sensors don't work when the weather is dry but after a heavy rainfall they start working again. It sounds like a poor connection on one of the sensors getting rain into the joint. How can I tell which one is faulty.Help please.
