  1. hi have you checked the rubber piping to the vacumm pump, you can get at it from the small inspection cover in the near side front wheel arch. mine had perished at the connection cut it back pushed back on all ok . if you cant see any thing there you can remove the near side front light cluster only 3 torx screws that gives you access to remove and examine the whole pump this is held on with 3 smaal bolts its a bit fiddly but not to hard. before you try all this dont wish to appear rude buthow have you tried to activate the cruise control have you pressed the button on the end of the stalk a few times in quick concession i have to pump mine about 4/5 times to activate
  2. on the right hand side of the engine block follow the large rubber hose down you have to remove the fitting above the thermostat housing to get at it. its a real fiddle to get it out and back in you need small hands
  3. hi all have used this site many times with fantastic results so heres hoping i,ve got a 2.3 ghia galaxy on a y 2001 plate have had to replace the wiper linkage as old one had seized i've used my old motor but on replacing every thing the intermitent position isn't working properly i should be able to set the delay time between 4 speeds but the blades just go 3 times then the blades stop in different positions each time if i put them on full they work fine but on putting the control stalk to the off position they go another 3 times then stop where ever they feel like the only way i can get the blades to finish in the correct position is by switching the engine off as the blades are there any help greatly appreciated. cheers mick
