I've had my 2007 Galaxy for nearly a year now and it's going to be due a service next month. However, I've looked in the service book and it doesn't really tell me anything about what needs doing when (my old Citroen Picasso service book told me exactly what is needed and when). So, my question is this. It is a 2.0 Diesel with 70k on the clock. It will be the 4th service on the vehicle. Will it be a standard service and what will need changing. Also, when does the timing belt need changing. I've heard different stories from 6 years to 120k miles! Cheers

I just had the same problem on mine. Found out that the boot was not shut properly (every time I pressed the boot release button on the remote or the handle on the boot I got a "click"). Pushed firmly on the boot to make sure it was closed and hey presto, it worked. Don't know if this will work with yours though.
