  1. this looks just the same as mine , doesn't look as though they changed yours either has it got the AE mark on as all the other parts have or is it a FRAUD ONE!, does anyone know how to date it? Perhaps the code to change the air filter is the same as the Maf sensor replacement code!!! . try Eurocar parts in edinburgh 0131 317 9898 ps you may need to tell them its a sharan , but my local branch is ok with galaxy! regards Keith.
  2. Try this . Extend the washer feed pipe & wrap it around the radiator hose about six turns, secure with cable ties carefully ,this should give a heated washer supply for minimal cost . :)
  3. I think I would try checking the air filter first as the dealers have been known to not change them ! cheapest option ! Maf sensors can be easily contaminated by things such as silicone spray , sealant etc. so be careful. :)
  4. Having owned 3 audis of which two had the same problem with the rear wiper I found that by lubricating the spindle with a good quality penertrating spray the operation of the wiper was greatly improved, this is due to the angle of the rear window picking up lots of spray etc.
  5. could anyone help ? I have got hot air coming from the central vent when the control switch is on the lower setting (manual ac version) & it should be going to the lower vents . thanks keith.
  6. What I am lookin at is a purpose made drain plug that incorporates a spring loaded ball valve, so doing away with the need to remove the plug to drain the engine oil, & yes the do make a type that enables a tube to be attached to it to allow routing from difficult to reach places but this could cause problems with ground clearance! for a look at the product (www.fumotovalve.com) it's only available from the US but at $27.00 dollars shipped to the UK + Duty. I had a supplier in the UK but deleted the link & they now tell me they will deal direct with me, anyone interested !
  7. is the drain plug in a recess in the pan or flush to it ?
  8. forgot to say card slot as well !! :(
  9. check out your local aldi's on thursday mp3 ,cd, radio, & usb port + 0.5m cable in black/silver or silver
  10. Thank you for the information as soon as I have details, is it the same for mk1 & mk2 s ? :(
  11. does anyone happen to know the thread size of the drain plug on a 115 ps TDI as i'm looking at a modification . diameter , length, tapered or parallel would be very useful
