once the poppers are removed then remove seat belts bolts then pull out from bottom and lift as it has hook type things around the windows :ph34r: but it is very stiff :unsure: :angry: pull and push like bugger it will go :ph34r: :( i know removed my heater for a hide away for my amps and assoisated [spll?] cables for the audio nav and dvd :( regards steve

unplug the loom in door gap pull back rubber and see if the wiring has broken or hold door lock in the lock postion with the key and see if the window closes [globel closing ] and that will tell you if its the switch or not :D hope this is of some help :D

:D i did same but i was vewry lucky as ford insure give you key cover , this comes at no excess and no loss of bonuses and to top that a free loan car i know thats no help at the moment but worth thinking about when the insurance is due :D

;) i got my springs from draco and they were spot on a local garage fitted the for me as the fronts are a pig of a job and the give the gal a good stance with out any ride quality loss :) and the aint to low so fitting them will not give any problems and its a worth while job :D

fair comment greg as i said you are the one with all the facks but do a mileage check and when you know excactly what yours is returning then compair that against a diesal then work out howlong it will be before you recoupe so money taking in to acccount diesel is now dearer than petrol :o :o regards steve

:o yes in the center consel each side has them but most are broken when you try to open them so thats why i've fitted the mk2 consel and it confused the local ford dealer this week but hey that aint hard :D :o

;) is it not true but is chrome so so 1970's ;) but i changed mine by using an alambra grill ande bits and pieces [ second hand ] then removed the grill center replaced with stainless mesh bingo and looks so much nicer even if differant bonnet and headlights were needed as the old ones sold on ebay B)

;) i got a second hand sat nav and it fitted piece of cake[ but i do it for a living sorry] if you use a alpine or clarion gps aerial and make sure yougalaxy has the speed dependance wire then plug in and play B) happy days lol ;)

:blink: i've got the vdo hard wired ms5400 with a 7" screen and its spot on they even send out the full mapping as and when it comes available it has a pucka poi list and the speed camera points are a bonus the down side is that they charge a subsription system but you only pay for what you want through there ciq network but i've found it faultless B) never got lost once while on holiday save time on all visits to zoos and other stuff that kept the kids quiet so add bonus there :D

B) i've remove the remote heater on the passanger side rear compartment so you could go that route :D cause then the o gauge cable can run where the water pipes were :ph34r: then hide the amps processor and other misc componants in there two 15 three 10/12 two sets of 6.5 componants 2 head units sat nav/pc under the seat :( B) sceens in 7 head rests :D then you're pimped also limo black tints on rear glass up to the b pillers then 70% on front windows and 18"rims and a 60 mm drop no problem :D

:D how much to change door lock one srcew which is visable for the door by opening door and hey presto one torx screw in line with handle thro' f*****g big hole :) :( sorry but thats a rip off even halfords would be happy of :( :)

:D you have to use the golf/vw type in line adpt as all vag group cars with roof or hide away type aerial are ampped this is done via a 12volt feed being sent down the centre core of the aereal lead so use a golf aereal adpt and job done :) :( :( :)

:D if you want them get them i did and i have glad i did :) but i got sharan twin head light conversion and bonnet but used alhambra grill as it has removable centre for easy meshing differant and im happy and thats what counts so if you want a bull bar get one try cobra at campbell motors as edley is a very helpfull bloke they are in northampton and are a suzy dealer but will and can get all types of bull bars :( :( :)

yes it is a 12v pos feed but its a staged feed so not to cause a pop so it goes 3-6-9-12v in about 1.5 sec so it soft starts :blink: :lol:

ive used the one from the mk2 and it fits very well but does stop like the mk1 before the hand brake :lol:
