  5. remove radio no need to unplug it and give the cubby hole a bloody good tug :huh:
  6. :lol: had the same problem you can link the wiring under the seat and the use a pos locking alarm on the original wiring and motors :unsure: this then works very well with an after market alarm with no need for extra motors or relays

  10. sould be a thin gray ribbon that plugs in or a small black block but the first one is for earlier gals :)
  11. helps all fq as all you are using at the moment is the aerial coax lead most specails or even motor accs shops should be able to help 12-15 pounds the normal prices give or take a pound :D
  12. did you use the vag aerial booster as the original has i built in booster :D

  15. :D you have two thin slots at the bottom corners of the unit and thats the removal tools slot. two thin pieces of metal with 45 degree tips push in and pull out unit :lol:
  16. oggy you will have no truble changing the radio just use the correct part for the radio aerial also remove the blue amp/aerial control lead out the iso block and swop the powers over and job done :D have done this sort of stuff on can equipted cars loads of times in the last 4 years since can-bus has been around :lol:

  18. just take off one bolt and put it through the hole if less than 15 mm then look for some new ones and a specialist alloy wheel centre should help you on that one :)
  19. the fk koni kit is on its way and andyrs rs6 rims so then its slam city but have you seen the tanks on the mk2 and how low it is :)
  20. <_< eat humble pie so to speak and get a specialist to look at it as he should check the speakers are also in phase and every thing is right as that can cause problems and you will not want a repair bill so pay the
  21. :lol: you need to check wiring in door shuts as all ready stated if the over sized ford radio in 2000/01` on fords then no external amp if early car [ ie mk1] then when the radio is slid forward then if you have a gray ribbon plugged into the back of the radio then the amp is under the second din hole [the one with the pocket in] is a bugger to get at a little stripping down is required :(

  23. has any one up rated their braking system dics pad and or calipers just seen a mk1 vr6[ ex old bill armed response] with brembo 4 pots and drilled and groved discs looked the bolx any one out there got the same sort of set up? :)
