Jake is dying... His wife, Ruth, was maintaining a candlelight vigil by his side. She held his fragile hand, tears running down her face. Her praying roused him from his slumber. He looked up and his pale lips began to move slightly. "Ruth my darling," he whispered. "Hush my love," she said. "Rest, don't talk." He was insistent. "Ruth," he said in his tired voice, "I have something that I must confess." "There's nothing to confess," replied the weeping Ruth, "Everything's all right, go to sleep." "No, no I must die in peace. Ruth, I slept with your sister, your best friend, her best friend and your mother!" "I know, my sweet one," whispered Ruth, "let the poison work."

A man with a bad stomach complaint sees his family doctor and asks what he can do. The doctor replies that the illness is quite serious but can be cured with a small course of two suppositories inserted into the back passage. The man agrees, although reluctantly. The doctor warns the man to expect some discomfort, and then asks him to bend over. The doctor then shoves the thing into his behind. The man experiences some minor discomfort but endures the pain. Afterwards, the doctor hands the man a second dose and tells him to do the same thing in six hours, using rubber gloves and some KY-Jelly. Later that evening, the man tries to insert the second suppository. Sure enough, he can't reach himself properly to obtain the required depth. He calls his wife over and explains what she has to do. The wife nods and puts one hand on his shoulder to steady him. She uses her free hand to shove the medicine home. The man suddenly screams in horror. "What's the matter?" asks his wife. "Did I hurt you?" "No, but I just realized that the doctor had BOTH hands on my shoulders

Even The Dealer Is Stumped
Ronnie W. replied to Ronnie W.'s topic in Questions about the Ford Galaxy
Our last Gal had a rattle from inside the pass. door it turned out to be a broken spring washer -
I have an annoying knocking coming from the front of my Gal after reading about the anti-roll bar bush problems on here i took her back to the dealer ansd sure enough they found the bush on the passanger side was worn and replaced it I took the car home (the dealer is on the outskirts of the next town and the noise is only heard at low speeds) and when i came down the lane to our house the knock was still there. I went into the house and phoned the dealer and procceded to give them what for for not checking both sides as I assumed the other side was knocking but they assured me that they had checked both sides They asked me to take the car back but after two hours of checking and road tests when they could clearly hear the noise they could not pinpoint where it was coming from. They are now wanting the car back to fit remote microphones to try to find where the noise is coming from Anyone out there had this problem? any help would be appreciated The noise occurs at no more than about 28 mph and over roughish surfaces
