Hi All Driving back from the shops this morning, i slowed down at a junction, shifted from fourth into second before cornering to the left. as i accelerated out of the corner, the old gal was all sluggish and felt as if she were about to stall.I dropped the clutch again and re-selected second as i assumed i had kept it in fourth by mistake, but no, same thing. Gradually she picked up speed but there was a red light at the next roundabout :ph34r: As the lights turned green, i shifted to first and.....stall!! ;) I basically had to rev the tits off her to get moving and fortunately managed to limp the 300 or so yards home. After messing with the gear stick a bit later on, i found that if i select first, second or fifth, the selector pops back into third or fourth position. It just won't stay to one side :ph34r: Anyone else experienced this and if so, is it likely to be a whole new gear box or something a little less major?. Any help would be very much appreciated. :lol: thanks in advance ~adema~

Hiya guys Thought i'd pop on and say hi as i haven't been on here in a while, changed a bit i noticed (wheres the I.C.E and customisation pages gone?? i used to enjoy those). Took the Gal in for her mot this morning, pick her back up on monday. Can't drop her off monday morning as i'm at work so i'm carless til monday teatime :) (ponders briefly, VERY briefly about getting the bike out of the shed). I know she's going to fail, the other day the steering started playing up, really hard to steer then it was o.k, guessing theres a pump going on the power steering or something?. Also the infamous drop link has gone (again!!) on the driver side. Fingers crossed it won't be too painful....lol. ~adema~

Well i knew regular stretching and keeping supple would pay off one day, it was worth it just to see the look of suprise on my good lady's face :) ~adema~

One time i was tanking down the A38, nice steady 70 and BOIIIIIING!!, Completely unprovoked, my knob popped off and landed in my wifes lap who was sitting in the front passenger seat. Pesky loose screw.

Hi mate Ok, confession time, lol. I actually took her to be washed at one of those platinum car wash places you usually find in pub car parks or outside garage forecourts. Think they use just normal tyre black stuff, but to polish i used autoglym super resin polish, buffed up with a lint free 100% cotton cloth. Waiting for the black clouds to loom over the horizon anytime now, lol. ~adema~
