when was it last serviced ? also after a journey do you let it run for a couple of minutes to let the oil get back round the turbo i always have as my dad told me this many years ago from when my dad had amondo diesel

does your car have a sunroof if so check the drain holes are not blocked

you ar elucky mine only has 15" wheels so it looks worse

i did not use a kit when i did my timing belt i was able to use a drill bit for pump and that was it i did not lock cam was very careful but if you realy want to get a piece of iron bar it will be alot cheaper

i dont know where it goes but i think its the speed control best way to check is go through menu and see if avc comes up if not then thats what its for

some vehicles have a balance weight on drive shaft due to how long they are also distorted brake discs and if the surface between wheel and hub wasnt free from dirt when wheel was last replaced the wheel would not go on true check the wheels are tight just a thought might be totaly wrong but ha ho

hi there dont know if you have tried or if you have one near you i , this compay hex holdings do panels worth a phone call just google and you will find them

if you have dried it out and it still doesnt work then i would think you will need a new one this unit also controls the interior lights just one thing try cleaning the the plug and the unit maybe one of the pins are corroded i know about this prob as i replaced mine as it was wrecked with water i couldnt find the exact one for mine as mine had three plugs but the one i got only had two however it still works do you know where your water is coming in from

check for water in compartment under passanger seat

just a thought i bought a p reg and when looking through the paper work i noticed that in june 2009 it had a new set of gear cables . the discription of fault was driver complaining of poor gear select and sloppy gear stick , hope this helps

Hello when you say the scuttle panel are you talking about the one under the bonnet with three bolts or the plastic trim under the windscreen. Where are the plastic plugs that neen silicon. Thanks for the reply on the sound proofing under the carpet I now know that this has to be cut out and dried. Is there any plastic plugs in this area or under the seats or in the foot well area that I may not know about. Thanks. hi the one under the windscreen wipers at bottom of windscreen when you remover it i think there is six clips which it fixes into i pulled mine out after reading about this somewhere where some guy went to a windscreen place and they did it for him i have not found any many people say to drill some holes in the compartment under pass seat to save it filling with water if you do find where your is coming from let me know so i can check mine

my passanger foot well was the same so as cold as it was the other day i decided to tackle it but what i did was cut it out with a stanley knife dried it out and built it back up with under lay as the sound profing was had it when the scutle panel was removed did you silicone the plastic plugs in as it can get in there , dont forget to check under passanger seat

dont know much about it but the galaxy i just bought had a control unit that was burt out light didnt come on when door open found a unit which still wrong one and lights worked when i opened the door and after closeing after a period of time the lights dimmed out

hi what year is your car if its an early one check that there is no water in the compartment under passanger seat as if there is it could be the comfort unit shorting across .

one of my mates had this problem on his galaxy and it turned out to be wood draft key on diesel pump although the aa just kept putting cold start into air box which did not sound good .

hi there i had a galaxy a few years ago and the first day i took it out got to 70 mph and just went flat but if i turned off hen back on it would be alright up to 70 again after a week of being checked at diff garages it was found to be a pipe which runs up to ecu that was weak and suck in on boost and putting into limp mode .
