Hi. The temperature gauge is playing up on my old shape 2000 1.9 TDI (90). My local Ford dealership have told me that the sensor needs changing. The sensor they supplied me (part no. F1137698) only has 2 terminals. The one I have removed as advised by the Haynes manual is just in front of the left hand end of the cyl. head and has 4 terminals ( VW part no. 357919501A with a yellow plastic ring). Am I working on the right sensor? VW recognised their part number and it has been superceded by 6U0919501B. Should I be fitting this sensor? My wife accidently ran the car for a short journey with the sensor removed and she ignored the flashing low level coolant light :( Does this mean that all the coolant will have been pumped out or will the system just need a top up? Thanks :)

Hi My car has just started vibrating at around the 1800 to 3000rpm range. I mostly feel it through the clutch pedal. It does it regardless of engine temperature. It has recently had the brake and clutch fluid and fuel filter renewed. Does this sound like an engine mount? Cheers
