I've finally got round to replacing the badges, used the hairdrier technique. I also used a plastic ice scraper to lever the badges off. WOW what a difference! Definitly a job worth doing..... thanks again for advice. :D :D :D :ph34r: :D :D B)

The VW specialist (as they call themselves) that supplied my car told me to only use Castrol GTX Magnatec. Is this any good? I've topped up with the stuff, but thats only cos they gave me a bottle of it. :rolleyes:

The ones advertised say 25-35mm, sounds subtle, and hopefully they'd stiffen up the ride. If i go for this is there anything else worth doing while the cars in bits? :(

Hi there. I've seen recently on eBay someone selling Eibach lowering springs for Sharn / Galaxy etc. Has anyone tried these, are they any good, is the ride acceptable ? Also, are they easy to fit?

Hi. Has anyone got any good advice on the best way to remove the badges on the tailgate? I need to replace the originals because they look tatty. I dont want to damage the paintwork!
