Thanks for the quick responses. Stupid question warning!! what is the best thing to lever of the plastic strip. Also referring back to my original question can i get to the sensor via the wheel arch by taking off the sheild? sorry for appearing really thick but I'm just dont want to ruin the car by getting a screwdriver to leverl the plastic and then getting a large scratch on my front bumper. Dear All, My front drivers side corner sensor has been pushed in by something/someone and I am trying to sell my car and just need this to tidy up. I have seen on previous posts about removing the bumper so that I can push it back out. But looking in the wheel arch there appears to be a shield fixed with 4No. Star scews which looks as if it is attached to the bumper. Would I be able to remove this and get to the sensor or is the only way of geeting to this removal of the bumper? I have phoned my dealer and as it is not covered by the warranty it will probably be around

Dear All, When I set the climate control to 'lo' on the climate control in 'Econ' mode it seems to blow out cold air but then after a while this changes to warm air, any ideas. When on 'Auto' air con seems to work fine Apologies if this has been posted before.

Silly question but how do i get access to the sensors, also I think the sensors are fine I think it is just pushed too far back so is sensing the hole as an object near but will check it out, thanks

Have noticed this weekend that the front parking sensor is on constantly. Had a look at the front and the sensor on the front drivers side corner of the bumper has been pushed in by someone/something which is why I think the sensor is constantly on. Has anyone any idea how I can pull it out back to its original position, Is it a case of getting behind the bumper. Any Ideas gratefully received

I think the door flashed but not certain but the working key still works the remote locking, so does this mean I must be doing something wrong Thanks

I tried reprogramming the key (Key 1) to the instructions above, All worked like it should - the key fob flashed 5 times but the remote still does not work. I have another remote key (Key 2) that works fine, Is the reason that key 1 is not working is because I need to also reprogram key 2 or is it just that key 1 is broken. Any Ideas gratefully received

I know this has probably been covered before but cannot find it. Anyway My galxy is 13mths old and one of the remote keys will now not work. I have changed both batteries and checked that they are in the right way. The Light still flashes on the key but will not open the doors. Does the Key need to be reprogrammed, or if not do you think it will be covered on the fraud warranty.

MyGalaxy has 9500 miles on the clock and is due for its 10000mile service. Can anyone what is the maximum time/mileage over the 12mths/10000miles i can wait to be serviced before it will invalidate the warranty.

I have phoned up a different Ford dealer for a second opinion and they say that the computer service warning has come on due to the car being driven hard. To my knowledge it hasnt been driven hard only normal school runs, shops etc. (Unles my wife has been having street races during the day). What does anyone think. One dealership is telling me that the computer comes on every 10000miles and another says it is when the car is driven hard. I am now getting confused :angry: :(

Finally got throught to ford about the service warning on the computer. Their explanantion was that most ford cars along with other manufacturers are tested (rolling road) and are done for around 4000miles and was not reset when it was delivered which would explain why the computer service warning is coming on early. Is this true are as I suspect he is pulling my leg. I am amazed that all cars are 'driven' 4000miles before you pick up a 'New' car. Can anyone enlighten me. Thanks in advance.

I bought my galaxy from new in February and have now done 6600miles. Every time the car is started it says service in so many miles (It now reads 700 miles). Is this correct or is it a fault with the computer, what will happen when it reaches 0miles till service?

I have read a few posts which say they have global window closing. Is this only on earlier models (I have a 2.3 ghia on 54 plate) or is it a modification. Any Help

I have had a galaxy ghia 2.3 for one month and when I opened the petrol cap for the first time. it said diesel on the inside of the cover. I have spoke to the ford garage I bought the car from and was told that it is just an oversite by fords and is OK. my question is that every time I put petrol in the car the petrol pump always clicks and so I have to have the nozzle just right so that it doesnt keep clicking. Am I right in thinking that depending on what you car runs on diesel or Unleaded the opening is differant sizes and also colour coded ( my opening is black) as I remeber on my old focus that their was a green rim around the pipe. Am I wrong before I make a fool of myself at Fords. Thanks in Advance
