I take it that when you mean "pulling of the drive in the morning" - the car has been sitting all night? If so, all the oil will be cold and sitting at the bottom, once up to a reasonable temperature and running, the oil will have had time to circulate and change gears as normal. My initial thought went to low level oil in the gearbox. Rather than top-it up, change the fluid as i expect that in the lifetime of the car this has not been done. Thanks for that. That was my thought, however why has it just started to happen? Plus it is intermitent even on the cold morninigs.
