Many thanks for your quick reply. Yes there is coolant loss,so i,am still thinking its the matrix. N/S only footwell is wet and has been for sometime rust around alarm module/recess the vechicle is a left hooker and it lives in spain (no heater no prob?)and no so much rain so i think that the amount of staining/rust must be more than just a blocked drain or rear washer feed. Maybe combo of problems there is staining on the bulkhead sound deadening revealed when scuttle panel was removed (drives side/opp side to pollen filter). Will check your suggestions get back,thanks again.

96 mk1 galaxy with wet footwell and rusty water stain on centre console,possibly matrix leaking? Anyone know how to cap off the heater, quickfix/bodge i know but credit crunch and all that?. Any help please.

I have a spanish mk1 19td with a blown turbo the problem is which turbo code is it?? The vehicle has had the engine replaced at some point so the engine number on the paperwork is of no use, the turbo has been removed and is a garrett -T15 0281 45701Q 4540831-1 S/N-ZE303569F. Which engine code has this turbo fitted all the dealers keep quoting 1Z,AFN or AHU?? Any help please.
