Hi, Read lots of good stuff on this forum about the dreaded Loss of Power problems. I bought a 1.9 TDI Galaxy (X Reg) from a woman off EBay. Drove it round town - lovely. On the way back home suffered all the usual lack of power on motorways/inclines etc. As suggested on here I replaced the MAF Sensor yesterday with one from Partco and it's as bad if not worse. I took the TMAP Sensor off and it was pretty oily so have dunked that in carb cleaner but same old problem. Makes me wonder if I've got one of these sticky vane.actuator/turbo problems. Hope not :unsure: I've ordered a vag-com lead off EBay but we're going from Worthing to Dorset next week and I really don't want to limp there and back. If anyone in or near Worthing is able to help I'd really appreciate it. Can't see any photos of all the vacuum hoses to check but I guess that could be another consideration? Any help appreciated as had loads of bother with a Vectra that I ended up selling for a big loss. Thanks!
