Can someone please tell me if the grill badge is simply stuck on, or do I need to removal the grill itself to unscrew it from behind. Thanks

Sorry if this seems a daft question. Can the Ford grill badge simply be prised off to replace it, or do I have to remove the whole grill. Hopefully someone can tell me if it is just stuck on. Thanks

Hi All - I am reasonably new to this site. I have a smelly heater and wanted to change the pollen filter but don't know where it is located. I have a Ford Galaxy 2001 2.3 Ghia so assume it is the MkII ? I have researched this site and initially thought that it was accessed from the engine bay under the bulk head, but having looked am now am not so sure. I found another article that suggested it was behind the fuse box and within the glove box area ? Either way if someone called tell me where it is, I will then know which article to follow. I have looked in the FAQ's section of the site but when I click on a link I always get 'web page cannot be found'. Is there something I am doing wrong. Is this a problem that others have had ? Everything else seems to work fine on the site. Thanks in anticipation, if anyone can point me in the right direction for either probelm !

I am not that technically minded but a couple of years ago my cruise control started dropping speeds and then stopped altogether. I heard about the leaking / perished vacuum hose situation and was well pleased when I cut the end of the old bit, and all then worked fine. However you guessed it, it has started happening again. I therefore treated myself to a new bit of pipe and fitted it, but this time it has not made any difference, even though the old pipe was really badly split and had become diconnected. When I now switch on the cruise control by the switch it seems dead, whereas before I am sure you at least felt a small 'kick' as the system kicked in. Can I just ask everyone. I have checked the fuse and it seems fine, but is there anything else obvious (like a relay or something I should check) ? Whereas the cruise control was previously working incorrectly (i.e. dropping speeds) at least it was working, as opposed to now being 'dead' completely. The new pipe seems to fit fine, but is perhaps not quite as snug as the previous one. I have used a new fuel pipe which appears to have the same diameter as the old. Thanks in anticipation

Can anyone tell me how it works ? I keep getting messages saying I don't have permission At the moment I have problems with my cruise control and also failing central locking on a 2001 2.3 Ghia Galaxy ! Anyway, fingers crossed
