I thought I had problems with the MAF ages ago, and disconnected it. Performance was better so I left it at that. about a year later, I remembered it was disconnected, and plugged it back in. Performance was SOOOOO bad that the car couldnt go uphill at all. My question is this: if I replace the MAF, will the performance be better than if I dont connect it at all? My Galaxy (W reg 1.9 TDi) failed its MOT yesterday, because the ABS Warning Lamp in the dashboard did not illuminate when the ignition was turned on. Im certain the all is well with the ABS, as I only had cause to use it 2 or 3 days ago. Obviously I cant ever remember seeing the Warning light (because its not the first thing you look for is it). Any ideas how I fix this one? I have had the dashboard out, and can see a series of bulbs, but there doesnt seem to be one specific to the ABS warning. Thanks
