can i just get the temp swith at a local halfords or do i have to get a ford one? also anyone got a pic of it as i looked under the wiper arm and i have not got a clue which one it is ? Thanks

i had same problem and need to check all the pipeing as well. only think is i dont know where any of the above pipe work is? can anyone be so kind as to supply a pic? Thanks inadvance

whats the best way to get a small bit of oil out of the Gal as i think i over filled it a bit? (i dont want to take of the floor pan again to do a oil change) what can happen if you over fil anyway??

thanks seat kid. is this easy to DIY or is it a trip to the dealer? My MAF is less than a year old as i had it replaced at last service, will it still be under warenty?

My TDI has started to jump slightly in 3rd and 2nd gear, it seems as thought I am the only one who can feel it as no passengers have said anything? and I can hear a slight noise when it does it? Also the other day I was in 4th and it all of a sudden it went flat (would not accelerate over 2 1/2 thou revs). but was ok when i stopped and then restarted. any idea what this could be and how to repair?? did it again today when i was a passenger and the noise is coming from the drivers side somewhere?

Hi Gents, Servicing the Gal tommorrow, new oil filter and oil. any other engine things i should grease or look at whilst im under there?? BTW mpg is not what it should be, should i replace glowplugs?? (does galaxy have ht leads or alternator??)

just noticed my sills have been crushed??? i have straitened as best i can with a hammer and painted it in a coat of sill paint (like a black tar kind of paint). will this do the job??

planning on doing a oil change soon myself.... Do i need a new sump plug? if so where do i get it from and also is it easy to get the engine under cover off? also would you sujest that i use a oil flush before i top up again? and how much oil does the Gal take? Sorry for all the questions....Im driving from london to scotland and want it all to be well.

vr6 do you know if the same is with a climate control unit as my one reports (on VAG) that recirc flap is stuck???

My Galaxys alarm has started going off, when turnt off with the keyfob it stops but goes of again about 2-3 mins later. I have managed to turn it off with the key and it has stopped. Anyone know what it could be?? BTW does the Gal have a factory immobiliser as well??

IIRC it is the later part of 2001 as my early 2001 does not have three point seat belt in the middle. I have seen other Y or 51 regs with three point system. BTW vr6galaxy could you really put a racing harness on the middle seat????

IIRC there are two circular covers that need to be prized off and then you can unscrew it from the back of the seat

Did you have to remove the bulk head to get to the bolt? do you have to undo the exterior part of the wipers? and is it obvious where to put the grease??

swaped the sensors and they work on the other side. but i dont want to spend

just checked under front passanger seat and it is all dry. MATT if it is the sensors any idea how much they are?? i managed to get the black part of the bumper off and one of the sensors is very tight the other has a bit of play in it. Again any help please?
