Hi - on this subject I'm about to attempt to replace a whole non-electric n/s mirror with a replacement electric one from ebay - is there an easy and simple guide to getting the old one off and fitting the new one? - presuming an electric one will still fit!

As another newbie, I really need to see the pdf's on this thread as I'm just about to attempt to replace the n/s one on my Mk1 too!
