I have the same car and I often notice it pinking when I run my car with a lower gear or loaded uphill. I thought this goes worse with low octanes or bad petrol. Next time I go to the garage I will ask him to check. Thanks for the hint.

That is true with Comfort not only with speed bumps but also in quick turns. As for the difference between Normal and Sport, oh yes there is one and I recon quite substancial, the car holds much better and I have a secure feeling that I am missing on Normal. Nevertheless when arround with family I usually use Normal which I suppose is what an average driver in everyday commuting needs.

I tottaly agree not only for the top centre consoles, but also for the middle one, a waste of money.

It is widespread among car manufacturers, basically because it is supposed to allow the air circulate better when you sit for a long period or when it is too warm, and of course it looks better (you do see the effect of streching the leather) I personally have it for almost 3 years, sometimes when I tried to police it or clean it I had a hard time, because whatever comes in (like biscuit parts from kids) its hard to remove. Nevertheless, I would not say that it is a problem, I only feel somehow dissapointed becauce Ford decided to put leather only in the facet and not allaround (the back of the seat is obviously not leather, but the side is leatherlike plastic...) If you want non perforated I am afraid that you have to look for an aftermarket one.
