I was following instructions I found on the forum to remove the auto gear selector to try and replace the bulb...... but when removing the ashtray....there's a big purple iso plug just sitting there...??? does anyone know what this is for...?? ...as for the gear selector bulb...... think i'm going to rig up an additional bulb next to existing original one..... :rolleyes:

Hi Folks.... We're picking up our Gal tomorrow..... and one of the things we are going to be doing over the next couple of weeks is fitting a DVD player for the kids...... However.... Wife and I have discussed wanting to put a 4 screen system into the car.... ...has anyone else done this......? .... and are there any considerations we need to think about for doing this..... or problems that other people have come across...?? ... I would also appreciate any guidance as to what kind of system to consider......whether it should be a stand alone seperate player..... or one that feeds from main head unit...... Thanks Paul & Lisa

Hi there everyone.... Paul & Lisa (and the 3 kids !!) here.... Well, we have just bought our first Galaxy...... (although we haven't even seen it yet.....!!) ....not sure if we've been foolish or not ....... but we have been looking for a specific one for a few weeks now...(we wanted the 1.9 TD Auto) and located one in Crewe.....some 200 miles away at a small Garage in the autotrader.... so we bought and paid for it before even seeing it in the flesh..... I just hope the Car is as good as the photo's..... !!.... we're going down to collect it on Saturday.... (we're in Newburgh, Fife) I'll post up a thread once we've picked it up and had it home for a few weeks..... Hopefully we'll get a chance to speak to you all sometime soon... :lol: Regards Paul & Lisa
